Summer Party Venues London - A round up of some of London’s best venues for corporate summer events

In a previous blog we covered what needs to be considered when planning a summer bash. Here we go one step further and take a look a few London venues that are the perfect places to host such an event. The only real key ingredient for a summer party venue to have is outside space to enjoy your drinks. Of course in London outside space can sometimes be hard to come by.

Below is a selection of some great summer party venues in London

The Artillery Garden at the HAC Every June & July part of the manicured cricket pitch at the HAC in the City of London is given over to a marquee of epic proportions. Complete with lawns & decking for drinks receptions, the tranquility makes it hard to believe you’re only a stones throw from the city. There’s even a fun fair onsite to provide some old fashioned entertainment.

Kia Oval As expected a cricket venue comes into its own during the summer months. The Kia offers great hospitality packages, whether you’re looking to go for a leisurely day of county games or want a fast paced evening of 20:20 to be bowled over by….. Of course the real jewel in the crown of the Oval is the Corinthians Roof Terrace, a stunning outdoor bar for around 300 guests to enjoy splendid roof tops views across London, a BBQ and Pimms on tap.

Royal College of Physicians There are few better places in London to be when the sun shines than Regent’s Park. Luckily for the RCP they are there year round offering out their stunning Grade 1 listed headquarters for conferences and events. In the summer they open up the world renowned medicinal garden for BBQs and soirees. Established in 1965, the garden now boasts over 1300 types of plants and tours and lectures can be arranged to run alongside events. If you’re looking to run a summer conference followed by evening party I can think of few better venues.

Egg London Egg is now a well established player on the London nightclub scene and a unique venue for events. Comprised of four spaces that combined can accommodate 1400 guests, each space has it’s own outdoor area, great for summer parties. This is a blank canvas venue, meaning that you can really make it your own and let your imagination run wild.

Haberdashers' Hall While most livery halls are best suited to formal summer events Harberdashers’ crosses the boundaries thanks to its modern design. The large courtyard is a perfect setting for a drinks reception or BBQ, and the striking main hall offers an intimate setting for dinners.

Radio Bar @ ME If there are two things I struggle to resist it’s a stunning view and a decent cocktail. Thankfully for me up on the 10th floor of ME hotel by Melia is Radio Bar. The wrap around bar gives incredible views across London’s skyline, and thanks to it’s relatively short stature and central location you feel as though you are part of the view, rather than glaring at it from a distance. Hire of the bar doesn’t come cheap, but if you’ve got the cash it really is worth it.
