Nestled down at the very southern tip of Chelsea on the Thames you’ll find the Chelsea Harbour Hotel. Chances are many Londoners will never have ventured to this part of the capital, because to be honest there’s not much there for those of us without 7-figure bank accounts. Despite the fact that it’s just 4-miles from Central London, on a sunny day you could feel that you were somewhere along the French Riviera, sat coffee in hand overlooking some impressive yachts.
Located in a luxury marina development the hotel has been designed as an all suite hotel, offering 158 suites to be precise. Even at entry level there is a spacious and separate lounge/work area, as well as a good sized bedroom and luxurious bathroom with both bath and shower. Most rooms enjoy views of the marina or across the London skyline, and many have their own balconies.
In terms of event rooms there are plenty. The largest offering, The Grand Room, offers space for 450 delegates in theatre style, or banquets of 500. Not only that but it has natural daylight and views of the marina! I can’t think of any other hotels with spaces this large that have that much natural daylight and proper views, it’s a real find. The suite splits into 3 and has a good sized pre-function area for receptions and registration. On the penthouse level there are 3 rooms, 2 of which cater for between 25-80, with the remaining suite a permanent boardroom for 14. All of them offer incredible views across London and access to balconies.
What we have here is a little gem. Because as far as any Londoner is concerned Chelsea Harbour is practically in the Home Counties prices are incredibly competitive. So if you have 5* aspirations but 4* budgets consider the Chelsea Harbour Hotel your new home.
