About this venue
A historic and beautiful venue set in Mayfair and overlooking Green Park, Sample Venue is a gem in the heart of London. With two generously proportioned conference suites accommodating up to 90 delegates and a number of smaller rooms the venue is perfect for all manner of events from conferences and meetings through to training seminars and networking evenings.
Built for Sir Henry Hunloke in 1761 and bought four years later by the Earl of Coventry it remained as Coventry House through to 1848 when was briefly home to the French Ambassador. The St James’s Club purchased 106 in 1868 it became their club house until the clubs demise in 1978. During this period it was frequented by many luminaries of the day including Evelyn Waugh and Ian Fleming, who made the club his home during the 1940’s. Notable designers Robert Adam and Thomas Cundy have both worked directly on the building and their influences can be seen throughout.

The St James’s Suite
Set on the first floor this suite has stunning views over Green Park and benefits from it’s on ante room which is ideal for serving refreshments or for use as a breakout room. The suite includes 2 projectors and screens as well as a PA system and modern furniture.
The Park View Suite
A dedicated theatre style room for up to 60 delegates the park view suite is on the ground floor of the building with views over Piccadilly and Green Park. The room includes a PA system, screen and projector.
The Fleming Lounge
An homage to the buildings former occupant the Fleming Lounge offers a quiet and contemplative space for 8 delegates with comfortable sofa seating.
Set for 50 delegates the classroom offers seat with built-in tables making it perfect for lectures, seminars or even exams.
